Connecting via radio

I'm using Concept v2.6 to connect to a Momentum PLC. We are trying to do this over a spread spectrum radio link. When I try to connect to the PLC, I get a timeout error message OL9-1501. It will still allow me to connect, however it will not be "equal". Is it even possible to connect over a radio link at 9600? It appears that the error is occurring during the configuration compare.
